Green Beans with Sesame Seeds
If you are thinking of what siding to prepare for your meat, try this simple recipe. It’s easy to prepare and my daughter can’t get enough of it, which is good because they’re vegetables!
Ingredients:
about 300 grams of green beans, trimmed and cut in half (you can use and/or mix it with snow peas and sugar snaps)
about a thumb sized fresh ginger, sliced (to be easily seen and picked out while eating hahaha — the ginger has a great flavour but I don’t like chewing on it) or grated
1 tablespoon kecap manis
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling
What you need to do:
In high heat, stir fry beans and ginger in oil for about 5 minutes or when small patches of black appear on the beans — I want my beans crunchy and not overcooked
Add the kecap manis and stir through to combine. Sprinkle your sesame seeds on top with flair like a real chef and you are done!
Serve.
